Child Dedication

Have you had your child dedicated already? What is child dedication anyway? How is it different from baptism?

Child Dedication is when parents commit to raise their children with biblical standards, and help them walk in the destiny God has prepared for them. Like our local cultural practice, it is usually done when the child is young. However, unlike the local practice, Child Dedication is not baptism. It is about the commitment of the parent, not the child. The child can choose to be baptized on his own later on. When parents commit to raise their children biblically, they honor their role and importance in the life of the child.

We are having a Child Dedication Ceremony coupled with an Orientation / Parenting Workshop. The Orientation will tell the parents more about this commitment they are making, and will also be a time of equipping for them to be better able to carry out this endeavor. This is on April 5, 2008 (Saturday) at 10 am. The Ceremony will be held together with other families and it will be a joyous occasion! It is on April 12, 2008 (Saturday) 10 am at the Victory Alabang Center.

Jerusalem Revealed

As we approach that time of the year when our country remembers the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord we take a journey together to the steps which led to the Cross of Calvary. Jerusalem Revealed is a series that brings us close enough to experience what happened, why it happened, and Who this Person is, that chose to make it happen, even if it cost him his life.

LOST - Preaching Series

As we walk the long road of Christianity, have we ever stopped and ask ourselves why?

Why is there a need to reach out for people, lost in the crossroads of Life? “LOST” is a three part series that will show us how to direct others towards the saving knowledge of Christ.

First Week - RECAP
“Be All Things, To All Men, So That By All Possible Means I Might Save Some.” This was the first challenge, as this series tackles the responsibility of every believer - to respond to the Gospel by sharing it to the world. We are being called to devote ourselves to this: reaching out to the world at LOST.

This first message underlines how we must not be hindered by our cultural preferences. How to do it? ENGAGE... For more, listen to our podcast.

For All Our Tomorrows

Can’t wait to see your bride walk down that aisle? Are you ecstatic just thinking of putting on that dream-wedding gown? Maybe you are planning that perfect wedding or planning the perfect life together... Either way, For All Our Tomorrows is for you! For All Our Tomorrows is a marriage preparation seminar that would provide biblical principles needed to cherish the beauty and be victorious over the struggles of married life.

What is the purpose of marriage? Why did God design man and woman to be married? What are the roles and responsibilities of a husband and a wife? Together we will seek biblical answers to these questions and uncover God's grand design for every couple.

While this seminar is for couples about to be married, already married couples are also welcome to attend, especially if they haven't attended an engagement seminar before.

The seminar will be held on the remaining Wednesdays of February namely the 13th, 20th, and the 27th at 7pm. Registration fee is 700 pesos per couple.

Happy New Year! 2008 update

Happy New Year everyone! As 2008 is well on its way, as a church we're going to start the way we usually do- on our knees seeking God. Here are a couple of announcements.

1. Every year the Every Nation family of churches starts off the year with seven days of prayer and fasting. We don't do this because it is a "tradition", but because every year has this in common : we NEED God. We want to encourage everyone to join us as we pray and fast, beginning on the 9th up until the 15th. Commit to a one-meal fast, a liquid fast (light soups and juices), or a water fast. Commit to clearing up your schedule and praying a lot more. Write down what you hear from God. Commit to seeking God for direction, guidance, supplication, and watch him move as you pray. Also, for each of the seven days, we will meet together at the Victory Center for worship and prayer at 7pm.

2. As we pray and ask God what his will is for 2008, some might wonder... "is it really possible to find out what God wants?". The good news is that the answer is YES and we have devoted three weeks talking about how. Our new preaching series "SYNC" is all about being in tune with God's good, pleasing and perfect will for our lives. Don't miss it!
